To the northeast of the Okavango Delta, Linyanti embraces a variety of habitats and shelters diverse species of wildlife.

To the North-East of the Okavango Delta lie the woodlands and wetlands of the remote Linyanti Region. Unrivaled in its remoteness and sense of space, the reserve is bordered by two iconic watercourses – the Linyanti River to the north and the sporadic and unusual watercourse of the Savuti Channel to the south. Easy access to a combination of habitats, ranging from floodplains to open-dry land savannahs to woodlands and lagoons. The area is a magnet for big game and birdlife. Activities include game drives and guided nature walks.

If you are a wildlife enthusiast and enjoy experiencing pristine wilderness areas, Linyanti is an excellent destination to consider. The region is known for its diverse ecosystems, rich wildlife populations, and remote, off-the-beaten-path feel, which can offer a unique and authentic African safari experience.

Some of Our Favorite Camps

Within the 125,000 hectare private Linyanti Concession bordering Chobe National Park’s western boundary are three small camps, DumaTau, Kings Pool and Savuti, which offer true wildness, remoteness and space. Visit here to view abundant herds of plains game, predators, and in the dry winter months, enormous herds of elephant. Chobe Chilwero is a wonderful base from which to explore the Chobe National Park itself with its huge elephant herds and scenic drives and boat cruises along the Chobe River.
