Relaxing Sunset
South Africa truly is a rainbow nation with its stunning landscapes, golden coastline, wildlife attractions and kaleidoscope of scenic and cultural wonders.
From the spectacular forests and beaches of the Garden Route to the arid Karoo, from the Cape’s manicured vineyards to the rugged Drakensberg mountain range and Big Five wildlife areas of the Kruger National Park, this wonderful destination will not disappoint you whatever your interest!
South Africa is blessed with a glorious and temperate climate and at any time of the year you will experience dry sunny days in many parts of the country. Cape Town is at its finest in full summer (November - March), with hot dry days, while winter months (May - August) may be cooler with a chance of rain. The Highveld and Johannesburg has lovely spring (September - November), and autumn (March - May) weather, generally with glorious sunny days, whilst winters are cold at night and summers can see spectacular thunderstorms during the rainy season. KwaZulu-Natal is at its most glorious in autumn and winter (March - August) when the weather is still warm and dry, with the sometimes stifling humidity of the summer months (November - February) abated. The lowveld around the Kruger National Park, similar to coastal KwaZulu-Natal, has humid sticky summers and glorious mild and sunny winters. The Garden Route and Eastern Cape experiences summer and winter rainfall, but has moderate temperatures and can be glorious all year round, although surprisingly cool in winter (June-August).
