Singita Pamushana Lodge
Zimbabwe is an Africa still largely untamed, a haunting landlocked country that evokes the spirit of pioneering days.
The country has many diverse attractions yet there is one overriding focal point - Victoria Falls: one of the great natural wonders of the world and a more than worthy World Heritage Site.
Winters in Zimbabwe are mild whilst summer temperatures can reach the upper 80s and low 90s. In winter, daytime temperatures average in the mid 70s, dipping considerably in the evenings and early mornings. The rainy season is typically November trough April. Whilst Zimbabwe is splendid all year round, the best time to visit is probably May - October, the dry winter months when days are mild, evenings cooler and mosquitoes largely absent. The bushveld at this time of year is far less dense, and animals tend to congregate around water, making for excellent game viewing. Mana Canoe Trail only operates May through November. Victoria Falls and Hwange can be visited all year round.
Hwange National Park
Within easy reach of Victoria Falls, Hwange remains one of Africa’s most compelling wildlife destinations.
