Passports & Visas

Your passports must be valid for 6 months after date of departure and have at least 4 blank “visa” stamp pages.

Luggage

Power/Electricity

Southern Africa operates on 220/230 volts. Converter/Adaptor plugs are recommended.

Money

Your credit cards will be accepted at the hotels and game lodges. ATM machines in large cities are very convenient to use to get local currency. You may want to travel with $400.00 per person in USD (small denominations). Only US currency printed 2006 or after will be accepted for visa’s, extras at hotels/lodges and/or tipping. You can arrange for local currency through your bank in the US, or change your money upon arrival in Africa at the airport.
